"After working with Jasen as an intimacy consultant, I cannot commend him more for his outstanding professionalism. He is a quick problem-solver and efficient communicator, no matter the magnitude of the problem or task. When our lead intimacy coordinator was unable to attend certain tech and dress rehearsals, Jasen willingly stepped in to ensure all actors on the project felt safe and secure in their intimacy performances. Jasen answered all questions from actors, and although they did not choreograph the intimacy, it was obvious that Jasen’s immediate step-in as an intimacy consultant left the actors feeling more certain in themselves and the choreography given by the time performances rolled around. I have only heard praise about Jasen’s work during my time at Sarah Lawrence College, and his extensive resume only furthers how lucky a production is to have his name on it.

As a producer, Jasen left an everlasting impact on SLC’s Musical Theatre Ensemble (MTE). I can say that now, as a current producer, we continue to sing his praises years after his graduation, and we actively work to further his established customs of organization, graciousness, and humbleness in the club’s leadership team.

Whenever Jasen was needed, even with their booked schedule, he was there. In a situation where an actor didn’t feel comfortable with a role they were cast in, Jasen honorably volunteered to be the MTE producer onsite to alleviate any tension. It’s certain to say that this cast member felt safer after Jasen’s interjections. His overall handling of the situation kept the emotions relieved and the situation forgotten about by the second week of rehearsals.

Above all, Jasen completes his work with egoless and gracious ethics, and I only wish them the absolute highest level of success in intimacy coordination, producing, and anything else they set their mind to in the theatre world and beyond."
